HEP-40 is not like other chitosans. |

HEP-40 is unique. It is
a low molecular weight chitosan with a size of 40,000 Daltons. The
starting material is food grade chitosan, which is then cut down to
a precise and homogeneous molecular weight of 40 kDa using a patented
enzymatic hydrolysis process. |

HEP-40 is produced
by Diversified Natural Products (DNP). The Company’s extensive
pre-clinical testing has shown that chitosan with a molecular weight
of 40kDa is significantly more effective in providing cholesterol
support than uncut chitosan. This has been confirmed in subsequent
